Governors at Willowbrook

The Governors are a voluntary body who meet together at least once a term to discuss and make decisions on school issues.  In order to adequately fulfil their roles a number of sub-committees have been created with specific terms of reference; they are:

Finance & Whole School Pay  Monitoring the school budget & considering staffing issues, pay etc
Property Overseeing the maintenance and development of the school buildings and grounds
Promotion  Working with the community and parents
Curriculum Monitoring what is taught in school, subject policies and schemes.

These sub-committees meet on a regular basis and report back to the full Governing body. Governors have legal duties and responsibilities as a joint body but not individually. They give freely of their time in support of the school and are welcome visitors who share their expertise with us.  Most are elected every four years and represent:
