Welcome

SchoolWillowbrook is a Local Authority school with pupils aged from 3 to 11 years. We are very proud of this wonderful school and welcome all visitors. Our dedicated team of staff ensure that all of our children received a broad and balanced curriculum throughout their time at Willowbrook. We believe that each child is unique and has the right to the best education, where much is expected of them in terms of learning and achievement. Learning is celebrated and openly admired. At the end of each stage, Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, much is done to ease the transition for the children as they start their next phase with us or as they move on to secondary school.
The extensive school grounds have been developed to provide an attractive, stimulating and safe environment for all children to enjoy. We strive to keep our outdoor environment at its best. Our fabulous Foundation Stage outdoor area really enhances learning and teaching opportunities and provides our "fourth classroom" for the Foundation Stage children. We provide a happy, stimulating and caring environment and expect high standards of behaviour and good manners throughout the school.
We strongly believe that children only develop to their full potential when home and school work together in partnership. You are welcome to come and see us: to discuss a worry or concern, to celebrate a success or to volunteer to hear children read or to play games with them. We want to ensure that this time in your child's life is happy and successful for both of you.
The most valuable resource that we have is the committed and professional adults who work here. All staff at Willowbrook contribute greatly to the full life of the school, and not just during the school day. We start the day at 8am for children in our breakfast club and throughout the year there is a variety of after school clubs.

Our success is due to everyone working together. "Excellence through Partnerships" is our motto and we hope that you can help us to continue to be successful in the future.

Mrs S Ridley (Headteacher)
Mr P Robertson (Chair of governors)
